How to Advertise

Ad Credits are the currency of JewelryInTheNet advertising. The cost of an ad in our system is displayed by the number of ad credits. The ad cost is determined by the area you advertise in, and the style of the ad. Ads styles are commonly offered in 3 ways, Basic, Enhanced or Premium. Each of these ad styles range by features and the number of ad credits required.

When you find it necessary to purchase an ad credit package, select a package that best suits your advertising needs. These packages range in size by the number of ad credits. Discounts are offered for larger packages. After you purchase an ad credit package, the credits reside in your account and are available for any type of advertising in our system. The cost of an ad is displayed in ad credits and varies by product group and ad style. This means that a Basic Buy & Sell ad costing 1 ad credit averages around 50 cents. An Enhanced Ad is approximately $1.00 and a Premium ad is $2.50. The actual price you pay per ad credit is determined by the size of the ad credit package.

Our easy and straightforward approach allows a user to select from a Basic, Enhanced or Premium ad style. Each of these styles range by features and the number of ad credits required. In most ad styles a user can include one or more images to display in their ad, while the Premium ad style supports multimedia for audio and video files. To view the different ad styles click here

The steps to place an ad vary by product group and ad style. Some are common across all groups, while other steps are specific to the product group or ad style. After selecting the ad style and moving to the next step, the top of the page will display all the steps needed to submit your ad. The number of steps may look daunting at times, but you will find many of the steps are optional.

A: You will receive 25 free ad credits to join and an additional 5 free ad credits monthly.

Q: Can my free ad credits be used for any product group or ad style?

A: You can use your free ad credits for most styles of advertising. However, some product groups and ad styles require a monthly subscription.

Q: What happens when I do not have enough free ad credits to place an ad?

A: You can first check to see if you are eligible to renew your free ad credits. Your other option is to purchase an ad credit package or monthly subscription.

A: Ad credits expire 1 year after purchase.
